Marian Bantjes is an internationally recognized Canadian graphic artist, whose work has been collected by the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Museum in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Design (LACMA), and the Chicago Art Institute.
She is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), a Fellow of the Design Professionals of Canada, and the recipient of The Advertising and Design Club of Canada’s Les Usherwood Award for lifetime achievement. A 272 page monograph of her work (Pretty Pictures) was published in 2013 by Thames & Hudson, and her archive is kept at The Letterform Archive in San Francisco. She lives in Nova Scotia, Canada.
